Why it costs more: most sweatshirts are a cotton-polyester blend in a lighter fleece. Ours is 100% cotton, with no polyester, at a heavy 420 GSM (grams per square metre). That means a thick, substantial fabric that breathes, feels soft against the skin, keeps its shape and lasts for years. A pure-cotton fleece this heavy costs far more to make, and that is what you are paying for.
